Concord Pacific’s new green energy arm, Concord Green Energy, has announced its first project will be Red Lily, a $70m wind turbine power generation station in Saskatchewan. The first phase of construction is underway on what will be the largest independent wind power project in Saskatchewan.

The announcement of Park Place joins a number of significant construction projects underway including, the Simon Fraser campus expansion, the RCMP E Division Headquarters, Surrey Memorial Hospital and Surrey’s Civic Library as well as other large-scale infrastructure and transportation improvements. Concord Pacific, with Mayor Gregor Robertson, has announced that COSMO will be the first downtown Vancouver condo to go plug-in and will be the first multi-family condo in Canada to offer a 220v home plug in vehicles. More about the announcement and photo from the event.

Last night a reception held at The Concord Pacific Presentation Center, the winners were announced and over $16,000 in prizes awarded by one of the esteemed contest judges, Erin Cebula and Concord Pacific President, Terry Hui. Vancouver’s new Mayor, Gregor Robertson and a host of others were in attendance.
