Communities are more
than Bricks & Mortar

Beyond building homes and contributing parks, recreation facilities, amenities, school sites, seawall walkways and daycares, Concord infuses over $2 million dollars annually into the communities they develop in through family oriented events and charities.

Kindness Pays Forward

Community builder Concord Pacific along with Global BC community reporter Michael Newman set out to find kind people in the Concord Pacific Place community to reward their act of kindness with a $1000 donation to their charity.

One of these charities will now benefit from an extra $30,000 donation. The story/video with the most "votes" will receive an additional $30,000 from Concord Pacific!

But it doesn't end there... Concord also wanted to make sure that not only the most popular story but the best story will receive an award for their charity so Concord and Global BC assembled a jury panel of community peers, media and medical professionals to select the best story and give away an additional $30,000!

Voting has concluded.

Congratulations exceptional citizens Judy Robertson for Sole Foods and April Skold for BCITS! Your kind acts netted your charities over $30,000 each! Watch the Global TV announcements made on January 7th:

We would also like to thank our jury for their time and care to choose the best Kindness Pays Forward story: Dr. Sean Virani, Cardiology Head at Providence Health, Caroline Kohlberg and Sandy Rolfe, Nurses at BC Children’s Hospital, Olivia Lam, Principal at LIV Interiors and Clive Jackson, Decorated Assignment Editor and Journalist (retired)
